Castiglione della Pescaia

The idea behind the Roccamare Resort is to allow guests to be surrounded by nature, it occupies a section of the beach that is reserved and peaceful in Castiglione della Pescaia, amidst the sea and the soft high ground of the countryside of Pian di Rocca.

The Roccamare Resort is surrounded by the greenery of the secular pine-grove which stands out against the blue of the horizon, the blue of the sea and the brown colour of the earth.

This spectacular and suggestive scenery is just 5 km from Castiglione della Pescaia, an exclusive resort which is dominated by the splendid Aragonese castle, with its renowned beaches, holm-oak and oak forests, which are ideal for walks, mountain bike rides or excursions on horseback. Local entertainment venues and events liven up the summer evenings with shows, celebrations and concerts.

Castiglione della Pescaia

Roccamare is situated in the district of ‘Le Rocchette’, between Punta Ala and Monte Argentario, along a section of coastline that is considered to be among the cleanest of the whole peninsula - for years it has been adorned with the much-sought after Blue Flag – a veritable paradise for those who love excursions in nature with visits to the medieval suburbs of Massa Marittima, Pitigliano and Scansano.

Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Lucca, cities brimming with art and history and among the most beautiful that Italy has to offer, are easily reachable in a few hours by car, along enchanting roads that cross the heartland of Tuscany.

Punta Ala
is an extremely beautiful tourist destination, many sailing regattas depart from its tourist port, it consists of a strip of land surrounded by the sea and covered by a fresh pine-grove. Between a walk on the trails directed towards the high ground and a round at the golf club, you will be conquered by the charm of an extraordinary and suggestive environment.

Monte Argentario stands over a headland that is much loved for its sandy coves and its thriving Mediterranean scrub that amidst olive groves and vineyards, looks out onto the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, unwinding along panoramic roads that lead to the marvellous lagoon of Orbetello. Don't miss the centre of Porto Ercole, at the edge of the Spanish fortress, which is rich with little streets, squares and steps overlooking the water and the breathtaking Porto Santo Stefano.
