Rocchette Beach

Distance from the Resort: Approximately 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot. One of the most popular beaches in the area, celebrated for its golden sand and turquoise water. Protected by a natural cliff, it offers calm waters perfect for snorkeling. Guests can choose between beach resorts with full facilities and free public areas.

Cala Violina

Distance from the Resort: Approximately 30 minutes by car plus a short walk. Considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy, Cala Violina is an enchanting little cove part of the Bandite di Scarlino Nature Reserve. The fine white sand produces a sound similar to a violin when walked on.

Castiglione della Pescaia Beach

Distance from the Resort: Approximately 10 minutes by car. A long sandy beach running along the medieval village of Castiglione della Pescaia. It offers both beach resorts with full facilities and large public areas. Ideal for enjoying sunset strolls and for people wishing to combine a day at the beach with a tour of the characteristic town center.

Punta Capezzòlo

Located 5 km from Casa di Levante Hotel. Distance by car: 10 minutes.

Capezzòlo beach is a long, mainly sandy beach located 5 km from Roccamare, just outside the town center of Castiglione della Pescaia, close to the Punta Capezzòlo promontory after which it's named. The short stretch of coastline running along the promontory has low, rocky shores surmounted by a hill on which stands a stately villa surrounded by Mediterranean scrub.

From Bagno Capezzòlo - a beach resort located in the northern part of the promontory - on, the coastline is sandy and, by walking several kilometers, you can reach Rocchette beach.

With its golden sand and beach resorts alternating with stretches of public beach, Capezzòlo is the ideal place for families with children as well as couples or groups of friends who want to spend the day in complete relaxation.

Cala Martina

Located 20 km from Casa di Levante Hotel. Distance by car: 30 minutes.

Less famous but equally beautiful and fascinating, Cala Martina beach is also located in the heart of the Bandite di Scarlino Nature Reserve. It's a gravelly beach surrounded by the intense green of the Mediterranean scrub. Like its "big sister" Cala Violina, Cala Martina can only be reached by sea, on foot or by bike. Cala Martina is famous as the place where Garibaldi, pursued by the papal guards, embarked on a fishing boat and fled to Porto Venere.
