The many roads and trails of Maremma make it the ideal place for bicycle lovers: safe roads with very little traffic, protected trails, but also dirt roads for mountain biking and cyclo-cross. You can put yourself to the test along easier routes, but also on steeper ones, which instead require a certain amount of training. In spring and autumn, thanks to its strategic position, Roccamare Resort is a departure point for both more experienced cyclists and beginners alike. You can enjoy selected tours, technical assistance and dedicated maintenance and repair equipment.

Horse-riding in Maremma
Freedom and discovery: this is what horse-riding in Maremma is all about. An ancient, eco-sustainable and exciting way of experiencing travel and the surrounding countryside. Along country paths, you will discover beautiful natural viewpoints, admire sunsets while riding along the beach, and breathe the fragrances of nature. Whether a ride lasting a few hours or a full-day trip, horse-riding will help you relax and shake off the frenzy of everyday life. Among the most impressive places worthy of a visit is the thick Tombolo pinewood, which stretches from Punta Ala to the Mountains of the Uccellina and is dotted with fascinating ruins of castles, abbeys and watchtowers, rocky promontories, dunes and sunny beaches.
Wild Nordic walking trails or guided routes enable enthusiasts to discover the Maremma Nature Park, extending along the Tyrrhenian Coast from Roccamare to Talamone. Here nature will envelop you with its colours and fragrances, an experience involving all five senses. The discovery of an uncontaminated world where it is easy to almost lose the perception of time. There are two main access points to the Park, Alberese and Talamone.
